| Kib surprised me with the most wonderful Mother's Day Surprise. He made meget up at 4:00 in the morning and drive 4 hours to the Grand Canyon. My surprise was that we were going on the Grand Canyon Railway. It's a 2.5 hour train ride to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. It was Zane (and Ryder's) first train ride. We got to listen to live music and see all kinds of animals out the window of the train. Once we made it to the Grand Canyon we had lunch, hiked around, shared a milkshake, and just enjoyed the beautiful day. On the train ride back we "got robbed" by the cowboys that were at the shoot out before we boarded the train. We really had a fabulous day and both the kids (zane especially) seemed to enjoy everything. Kib got huge brownie points for this one. |

I have always wanted to do this too. I'm very impressed that Kib surprised you with this. Good job Kib! Glad you had a good Mother's Day.
