It's time to give an update as to all the wonderful things that my boys are up to. Let's start with Ryder. The little peanut is about to turn 1, and despite his size (less then 1%) he is right on track for his age. He is becoming a very good eater, when he isn't teething. He knows quite a few signs, like more, finished, water. He loves to clap, wave and blow kisses. And we are fairly certain that he is going to start walking sometime around his first birthday. !ll in all he is about as perfect as they come. Happy, loving, snuggly, smart, and that's just a few of his great qualities.
And then there is Zane. He is one amazing little 2.5 year old. The sentences that come out of his mouth are enough to make your jaw drop. He easily uses 10-14 words in a sentence. I actually carried on a conversation with him on the phone recently. He goes to school 2 mornings a week, and he really seems to love it. He always comes home singing a new song. We have him in Tiny Tot Sports and Gymnastics, both of which he enjoys once he gets there. The getting there, however, is never easy as he always puts up a fight. We just bought Zane a bicycle this weekend and he hasn't stopped riding it. He road it into town (Maricpa, not Chandler) and back 2 times yesterday. We estimate that he rode about 6 miles total yesterday. Tour de France here we come.
So that is it. We are enjoying the last of the nice weather before the hot, hot, hot, summer months get here. We are looking forward to another busy month with Ryder's birthday, a visit from Matt and Andrea, and Kib's kids coming down for an entire week at the end of the month. Everytime I think things are slowing down we manage to somehow fill our plates with more things to do.
